deanp Its been a couple weeks, but stopped at the gas station and it was snowing lightly. Guy comes over and said looks like your diving the wrong vehicle for this kind of weather. I guess I had a confused look on my face and he said he wouldn't drive anything that wasn't 4wd when it starts snowing. I replied that it was 4wd. He said he thought only the 4 door Jeeps were 4wd.

Yoga-Mud-Sand I was asked how I liked my new car. I said it's not a car, it's a jeep. Response: oh, ok. So, it's a truck. (Sigh)

That's what she gets for getting fresh with my Jeep. Unfortunately I could not say things to her like, "So you like it dirty?".

I have been asked if my Jeep was 4 wheel drive or has an A/C in it.
I would said "I did wash my jeep. Can't you tell?"😳😳😳😳😳

TacX Had to duck into a drive through car wash today. Disclaimer lol, I had been busy with work and holidays and leaving for NY to see gf's family tomorrow.

Anyways pull up to the guy for the wash and he's like "Is that an undercover police car?".

Umm?!? I've heard a lot of questions but no my jeep is not a police car.

Obviously my expression conveyed my confusion because he then pointed out the sPod switch unit and said it looked like a cop car. I laughed and went for the wash.

TJ Lyons I see those kinds of stickers on a lot of little boys' vehicles. I don't think "Insensative", I think 'Insacure".
A friend of mine had a similar sticker on a car he use to own. He thought it was a "funny gay pride sticker" and a "pretty cool way to find dates."

JE01 Installed tubed fender flares and a co-worker told me "nice mud flaps"! I laughed and said, they are called fender flares.

Dusthol Just got done raining so I went and played in the mud. I drove it to work covered in mud the next day. Co worker comes up and ask where did I find mud to play in. I told him it's a jeep it finds mud on its own.

That would be funny a anything...I no longer work there and at my new place everyone loves my Jeep.

Woman wanting to buy a Jeep asked me about locks on a jeep with a soft top. I showed her a you tube video about how easy it is to unzip the soft top. She is now buy a Jeep with a hard top.

JoseRubicon Left work a little late, met my wife and kids at the Cub Scout den meeting. The boys work working a project on a table next to the big window. When I pull into the parking lot, there are no spots. No spots. So I back up into the snow bank next to that big window and the den leader tell the other parents "look at the crazy guy! Look where he's parking!" My wife responds " yeah, that's my husband"

I suppose if it's a rock crawler or something? I didn't ask; I was too dumbfounded hearing the statement to follow up with the speaker of such words ...
That is silly!
I used to get my Jeep out for the winter...
Which was easy since it was still out from the spring, summer, and fall.

Tape players got to the point where it was so out of date I got lazy and started locking the face in the center. Someone got in one night and since I had pulled my interior lights out they used matches to steal the face and radio. No damage to the soft top because it was unlocked but they did break the center lock and made a mess of the dash. Since then I lock my jeeps and have locked my keys in a few times. But with the soft top it is so easy to break in it has never been a problem. I pick up my new one on Thursday, a hard top with power locks. It will be much harder to lock them in now!
Exactly. I'm someone who virtually never fails to lock a door, so manual locks aren't something that I begrudge my jeep having (although only having one useful button on my remote starter kind of irks me). Even growing up I'd lock my own door on the family car that had power locks. It's second nature, but leaves you vulnerable to those doh moments. Like I said, I've closed my door FULLY KNOWING I was leaving my keys and phone in the jeep only to realize I'd automatically locked the door without even noticing
