Any timeframe on release dates for the Gen II rear RockBrawler bumper without tire carrier?

I'm really torn between the first generation and this new one coming out.

Will the integrated hitch have the same specifications as dictated by the OEM hitch? Does your bumper integrate into the crossmember for additional support?

Thanks a ton for the information.
If you want it without the tire carrier, give our sales department a call. I believe the basic bumpers are done, they may be able to ship you one right away. The last little bit of delay is for a small part that goes with the tire carrier, which shouldn't have any bearing on the stand-alone version of the bumper.

About the nomenclature, this one would actually, technically be "Gen III". The first version of the RockBrawler rear bumper was a little different, it didn't have backup lamps, was more box-shaped, etc. So I guess its a little confusing to call this one the "RockBrawler II". But I know what you're talking about

With regards to the hitch, we do not do a tow weight rating on them. For that reason we can't technically call them a tow hitch, nor recommend them for actual towing. We have to call them a "recovery attachment point". There are insurance and liability issues behind all of that. We're still a pretty small company but perhaps we're growing toward the point that we may start being able to justify the extra expense of having the tow ratings done and certified by the outside laboratories. But we're just not at that point yet.

Yes, it does tie in to the crossmember. There are a couple of extra bolts that bolt through the bottom of the bumper into the crossmember. You can look at the current bumper's install instructions if you'd like to see that in detail, the new bumper will install in a similar manner.

kramer2k I asked this in your other rear bumper question but I now see your new Gen II RockBrawler rear bumper will not have a delete option for the light buckets.

I have another question on the new rear bumper. Will it be available without the integrated hitch? I like how the new rear bumper has a little more depth and wraps around slightly more than the first generation RockBrawler. But I'd like to keep my OEM hitch.

If you're referring to the two holes you have to drill on the bottom of the crossmember, yes you will still drill those when mounting the new bumper. Technically you can install it without drilling those...meaning, the bumper bolts on using the stock bolt holes too. But with the extra weight and leverage of a tire carrier, adding the extra fasteners is important.

Not as a standard feature but we can add them. Just let the sales person know when you place your order.

It does not stick out quite as far as the stock flares do. I'll try to get a photo that shows it. We have a shortage of Jeeps with stock flares around here

Currently we do not offer a can mount option, but we hope to at some point.

Also, do you have pictures of the front mid width with a stinger?
Yes you will be able to order it without the carrier. The front Brawler MID bumper is not currently offered with a stinger, just the Brawler Bar.

NFRs2000NYC Really waiting for someone to come out with a full width bumper, with lights, with a carrier on real bearings, WITH a tailgate link, WITH OEM hitch compatibility, WITH TWO gerry can mounts. Would buy it tomorrow. Sadly, no one makes one, and for some reason, no one is planning on it.

DTS chopperbobby & ddog, the first run of the Brawler MID front bumper is being sold by Northridge 4X4. Once the first run was already in production we decided to make some changes to the design, so Northridge offered to buy out the entire first run so we could wait until the design was finalized in our second run before we officially launch it on our own site. Basically the design change was to allow for larger tires, as the first run would fit a maximum 37" tire, but it would rub a little on those at full turn and full articulation of the suspension. Northridge is selling them with that disclaimer, however they are an awesome deal because they are throwing in the lower skid for free. The second run, which will officially launch them for us, will not have the tire size disclaimer but they won't come with a free lower skid.

Glockem, the JK 50" Light Bar Mounts have been in production for over a year now. You can purchase them right on our website or through any of our dealers, or from Rigid. If you purchase the light bar from us, we throw in the mounts for free.

ddog, the new RockBrawler II rear bumper will probably not be available until after the New Year. 4-door Brawler Rockers in steel are available now.

ddog What's the availability of the new JK RockBrawler II Rear Bumper and the Brawler Mid-Width front bumper for JK? Also the JK 4-Dr Brawler Rockers (Steel)? My JKUR will be here next Monday (24th)

Glockem Poison Spyder windshield light bar mount for Rigid Industries 50" LED Light Bars. Looks good, how long before you have the bracket for JK's? Thanks

chopperbobby When will the Brawler Mid-Width front bumper for JK bumper be on your web site? How much does it weight? It looks great. I was just about ready to order another bumper but that one has made me take another look.

If you're talking about the new 3/16 corners with integrated flares, no those won't be out before the end of this year.

The bumper installs exactly the same as our Brawler Lite, meaning it does not require any cutting or relocating to install the bumper itself. I'm not sure yet if the optional lower skid will require any trimming of the crash bar the way the BL one does.
