It looks like the mount interferes with the soft top closing properly. Can you shed some light on that?
Also, do you remember the ebay member that you bought the mount from?
I appreciate the help as I am looking at doing a similar set up. Your jeep is definitely an inspiration and looks bad A$$!

... let's face it, I won't be happy until the lenses are made of Diamond.

I like these LED systems but without an available protective cover.... I'm out. Hopefully in the future they will offer it as an option or simply provide a lifetime lens warranty if they're indestructible. For that price they should be indestructible or back it up with a no lens breakage warranty, or.... simply offer covers as an option.
A semi throwing variable rocks at 65mph coming toward a vehicle moving the opposite direction at 65mph breaks stuff. Happens here frequently. Lights that have protective covers don't break. The lights are only for offroad use, that's when the covers would come off.
For now my money will go toward PIAA lighting which have inexpensive optional protective covers available.

Here you be the judge. (This is for Rigid, but they're all built with the same design.)
You're right it's not equivalent, it's much harder on them when you're going 100 Mph through the desert with other trucks throwing rocks at you. A Lens isn't a bad idea, but I've seen these keep working on buggies that have rolled at 110 Mph.
I live in Salt Lake, so I know all about the Rocky Mountains. Nothing on our highways worries me about the light bar I'm putting on my Jeep.

I live in Colorado.... the "rocky" mtns.
Almost every light and windshield I've ever owned has been damaged by or destroyed by flying rocks on the hwy here. Gets expensive real fast.
If this manufacturer provided either of these things I'd be sold:
a) lifetime guarantee of lens
b) Protective hard cover for hwy use
A "400 mile offroad race" is not the equivalent of several years of 65mph driving on Colorado highways.
Is this polycarb lens stronger than my windshield? Doubtful, very doubtful.
A hard cover for hwy driving makes perfect sense to me for protecting an investment of this nature. Other various manufacturers of lighting offer lens protection options for obvious reasons... obvious to Coloradans anyway.
