Jerry Bransford There are plenty of threads on this subject, like this one that is still active... http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/best...ng-198223.html

Personally, I wouldn't mount a spare tire carrier onto a bumper, for reasons I mentioned in that thread.

Landon II There are so many out there for sure. I guess that's a good thing if your the consumer but it makes it harder to figure what is best for the money. I will look on Amazon thanks

It appears indeed to be a Rampage product, and there are a few reviews on Amazon.

Looks like a China special! I'm looking at a Ground Pounder, Dirtworx, or a Nates bumper. I don't know if it's worth buying the tire carrier if I don't go over 31" tires. I had the Hidden Hitch removed in order for the Dynomax Cat Back to be installed, so I need a receiver hitch. I'd like to tow a small trailer for hauling firewood and and I think that tire carrier may add additional tongue weight.

Remember that there are so many aftermarket bumper/tire carriers out there its hard to get a proper opinion. When in doubt, make one. If you have the right equipment/materials of course.

Rear bumper tire carrier

Anybody have this bumper? I want to get a rear bumper with a tire carrier. I want one with a integrated hitch. I would also like the tire carrier part to lock in the open position. I'm not sure if this one does. It looks nice though.

My goal is to get the spare off the gate and do a drop down gate.
