Drummer_192 Hey im out around Hays, anyone close??

How do you get to that tuttle creek place? and im only about 30 minutes from the place in dighton if anyone wants to go hit me up sometime.

cavediverjc If you guys haven't done Tuttle Creek ORV Park yet, I highly recommend it. It's about half an hour from Manhattan, very near Randolph, KS. It's not open to camping, but there is no daily admission. It's basically an honor system.......you don't trash the place, and you don't stay the night. There is no one out there micro-managing you, telling you where you can/can't go. It's got something for everyone. If you're into rocks (I am), there are plenty to play on. If you're into mud (I hate mud), there are plenty of trails with copious amounts of mud. There are trails for stockers, and there are trails for competition buggies, and a ton of trails in between. The weekends are the busiest times (duh), but there is almost always a rig or two out there at all times. I was stationed at Fort Riley and hit up that Tuttle Creek ORV Park all the time. I can give you directions to it if anyone is interested.

-Edit- The whole time you're at the park, you have NO idea you're in Kansas. It's more like Colorado than Kansas. Once again, if you don't want to drive the 4 hours to Clayton or to Disney, go check out Tuttle.

Kansas Rocks....2 1/2 to 3hr east on HWY 54.
SMORR...southern missouri ranch rocker.

There are many Places but for anything good you have to take a drive.

Disney OK is SWEET and has anything from stock to all out WILD trails.

02-16-2009 12:27 AM
ks90yj Find me a place to go then.
02-16-2009 12:22 AM
distortedtj They had one of the trails if you want to call it open to vehicles but nothing you cant do in 2wd. It was one of the atv trails.

If that's what your into cool beans. Everyone enjoys different wheeling. I like challenging trails and hate mud. You'd be amazed where a stock jeep will go.
02-16-2009 12:11 AM
ks90yj I talked to some other people and they said they had some nice like beginers trails and stuff
