Hi I just thought it's about time I introduced my self. I'm based in the UK and late last year I decided that I should treat my self to something I have wanted for years a Jeep. My excuses to me (if I needed any more) were Christmas is coming & a big birthday (60) due in February. So on Sept 26 2012 I became the proud owner of a 1999 2.5 five speed manual Sport in green 76,000 miles on the clock. I have to say that having been an avid reader of the forum since my purchase I'm pleased I didn't read it before as everything said about the Jeep taking over you life & wallet as it's all true and better to discover that when it is too late. On thing the forum did help me with was to ID the wheels fitted to my truck and I would like to give a big thank you to Wheels America for their help getting the perfectly matched wheel.apparently they are common out in the States but not here in the UK. Finally on things common there and uncommon hear this waiving at other Wranglers thing after 6 months I saw my first other Jeep no point in waiving as I was in a cab! Now that's Sods Law! So I'm hooked now and long may it continue.
