I just started painting mine yesterday and I'm extremely happy. As you can see I've only done the one door panel so far. Gonna finish today.

Rude Dog I've also heard of the heat gun trick being done with Atv plastics as well.

If you want to keep it factory and not paint it, get yourself a heat gun. Heat the area that is faded until you see the original color come back. DO NOT just hold the gun in one spot. It will melt the plastic away. I didn't believe this either but gave it a try on my Explorer Sport Trac that I used to have, and it worked like a charm.

SouthTJ Paint it if it's real bad but I just used a dash conditioner, Mothers I think and used it over and over and it smoothed it out and it looked better.

InvisiblePants The white discoloration is most likely oxidation. I have been slowly painting my interior with krypton fusion bc I hate the boring gray color of the interior.

TJspeed Plasti dip is a bad idea for the interior. Unless you do 10+ coats. Use krylon fusion.

Here check this out.

I have seen a lot of people on here either paint or plasti dip their doors and dash. Looks pretty good and is cheap. And there is color restoring stuff at auto places but idk how well it would work
