BV Jeep Quick weather report. 1" of snow on the grass but the roads are just wet. Weather shows that the snow/rain is moving out. Once the sun comes out the snow will melt fast. Trail will be just fine. We will just say it will keep the dust down. Highs projected to be in the high 40's to low 50's

See you at the Gunsmoke

BV Jeep Done and the tranny works perfectly. It shifts like it is supposed to. Now I have to figure out if I should go topless tomorow???
04-13-2013 12:43 PM
Oldguy Oh, good. I knew if I gave you enough shit you'd come through. Finding that winch at Tomkin has me in a really good mood so I may not bitch at all.

Danny, if you want to make them cry for their mommies and don't mind soiling your seats take them on the teeter totter

BV Jeep Well I have good news and some bad news.. I found the issue with the tranny. It is fixed and will be running very soon!!! Just have to reassemble all the stuff I took off and put it all back on. Now for the bad news. I have to give Ed a ride tomorow. Just kidding. Looks like the guide will be there.

Se you guys tomorrow

BrianTG Ha. That was a given. Thats why I was offering to be a Taxi good sir. You can ride in the front with Dan, whom I presume will be there if Doug isn't. And I think I just talked myself into going.
04-13-2013 12:06 AM
Oldguy No, I have an 56 something that was the first winch Warn put out. This is the later one that they're still making. 20 sounds fine with me. We'll hook up eventually

If Doug can't get his shit together on his tranny whoever I ride with will be leading the pack so you might want to give it due consideration

Justin04Lj Yes Ed I do have an extra remote. Thought you already had an 8274 or whatever. Ever get the winch plate fabbed? 20 bucks for the remote?
04-12-2013 11:44 PM
BrianTG If my testies decide to drop and I go on the BV you can grumble in my vehicle if need be Ed.

Oldguy Vegas was a blast, although the way we do Vegas is a lot different than most people. Didn't win, didn't lose, but then I don't gamble. What I didn't lose I spent on a Warn 8274 that I picked up on the way back for a song. Oh yeah, Justin, do you still have an extra warn remote? I need one.

No, Doug, my rig probably won't be functional until Memorial day at the earliest, so you better get your ass humping on that tranny. Otherwise I'll have to subject my scintillating personality on some other unsuspecting SOB. Not only that, I'll end up spotting and that is not a good thing. I like to see Jeeps do belly flops So take that as fair warning, guys and gals

How was Vegas Ed? Any richer?

jagerhelix Getting further, but starting to get a bit more nervous on time. Got the ARB in and finished up the regear on the rear. Huge pain in the ass is what that is, especially since I won't know if it works until I put the shafts back in since it just blows air out the tubes right now. I'm hoping to god that shit works. I'll be getting the rear back under and buttoned up tomorrow. By Friday I'm hoping to drive out of my garage under it's own power. I'll do balljoints some other day. At full droop my shocks have just a little further to expand so I'm not worried about over extending. So I'll probably end up forgoing extended bumpstops for now and remove the fenders completely and just adjusting my steering stops a bit.

Rooster454 I checked the forecast for out there earlier and it's supposed to be mid-50's thru Sunday and I don't remember a lot of trees that would provide enough shade to keep it from melting before Sunday

chrisfp88 Man I'm gonna miss all you guys. If I thought the Dana 30 could hold out I'd run it, but just makes me a little to nervous to test it. Have a great time and be safe. I'm getting my ProRock installed the week of April 22nd if all goes right, regear to 4.88, Chromolly shafts front and rear. I have new coils installed, but also need to put new adjustable control arms under her. That should happen by the end of this month I hope. I can't wait to hit the trail again with you all.
