mrpotatohead Are you looking for a carb'd or fuel injected V8? You can usually find a 350 short block just by opening your door and going outside.

TJ V8 Swap

So finally got me a little gas sipper so now i have time to work on my Jeep and want your guys input on it. So let me tell ya about how I have her set up so far. so she's got the 4.0L stock, 6" lift up front and a 4'' in the rear, short arm lift kit. Running 33's on the stock axles. everything else basically stock. So now here's what i want to do. 1st off re-do my roll cage and put in bucket seats with 5 point harness. already got that figured out no problems there. 2nd throw in a V8, if i can find a engine-trans combo for a good price i'll do both if not i'll keep the stock auto trans. 3rd something with my suspension, don't know what exactly yet but thinking coil overs up front maybe. So my questions are: What motor and where to find it? i would like a chevy 350. My rear axle is the 35, if i can find a cheap 44 i'll throw it in, if not i have entertained the idea of just upgrading my D35 with new axles and c-clip eliminators, thoughts on that? last but not least anyone that wants to help that lives here in southern utah let me know
