You're from Ontario, it's probably a common issue on Canadian Jeep. Wrangler don't seems to sell that well here, they can stay some months in the dealer parking. If they do some distance in winter without any kind of protection... I mean most parts under mine looked barely painted... It will rust in no time.

Ohh cool! I'm eventually putting a compressor/tank in. You would have to run an air line into the jeep to that panel?

This is "normal surface rust" from my dealer. After 3 weeks battling with them, I decided to do the job myself. At least I know it is done right. With the winter coming here soon (It is supposed to snow this week-end), I was not willing to wait more. They put salt on the road here... it would not help the situation.

What did you use? Looks good now...

Sea-Dated Had a Teraflex 3" lift and 36x13.50 IROCS on Raceline bead locks installed yesterday. PSC Bumpers and Rocker Brawlers are in powder coating and should be installed next week.

My 4 year old thinks it is monster truck now. LOL

Not sure why the first picture rotated, it displays fine on my PC.

I like my Bushwhacker flatties. Pain in the butt to install but worth it.

WTON Finally got rid of all the branding. Read all the tips of how to take off the stickers. Tried all of them... Man that glue did not want to come off my 2010. Anyway, after some serious elbow etc. so happy with the clean look. So happy in fact I snapped a pic on my way out of the liquor store tonight.

That is absolutely not "normal surface rust." From the pictures it looks like there was inadequate prep/painting or defective materials. It also looks like the undercarriage was exposed to salt or some other corrosive substance. I note particularly the badly rusted penetration seal. You should not be paying to correct this on a new vehicle. This was either factory, shipment or storage error.
