Luckily I have 3 other vehicles that I put most of my miles on.

To OP, if there truly is 1/2" difference between a 3" lift and a 2 1/2" and if the 2 1/2 can accomplish the look and tire size you want, I think I'd do the 2 1/2.

The people on the forum that know "stuff", seem to agree that the closer to stock that the suspension can be, the less wear and tear on some of the other components.
Very true and less chance of steering/drive shaft issues.

Enjoytheride I just had the 3" BDS installed on my new 2013 Jk 4 Door. The ride is great! Very pleased with it!

JGreer First picture is obviously the before...

JGreer I have the 3" BDS on my 2 door. I absolutely love it. Great ride and exactly 3"s of lift. You also can't beat their no questions asked lifetime warranty. My kit came with everything needed and I had my local shop install it just because of the deal I got. I also did a new steering g stabilizer. The only thing I will say bad about this lift, it didn't completely take away the factory rake (although my roommate thinks it did, maybe I'm just being anal). Other than that I love it.

Depending on what size tires you want to run, they also have a 2" coil lift for the 4 doors that they do not offer on the 2 doors. I thought I was bummed about not getting the 2" but I'm super stoked with my lift. And of course this is useless without pics so here ya go:

Chewmybacca26 I had a 3" BDS on my LJ. I rocked it, mudded and took it on the beach. The lift held up and the Jeep rode great. As far as BDS performance on a JK, I'm looking for answers myself.

chopperbobby I have a 2" bds coil lift and it is great. The three shops around here that do offroad vehicles all recommended bds. Could not be happier

dth0917 I'm not seeing the BDS lift in the review. Is BDS not very popular among jeepers or not recommended?

Joe Dragon Thanks for posting that.

3" BDS Lift

I'm thinking about lifting my JKU, but have no experience with lift kits and this is my first jeep. I hear that BDS makes a good lift and has excellent customer service. Any advice or experience with this lift would be appreciated. Also if your running this lift on your jeep please post a picture. Thanks
