CountryBoyJeep Almost forgot.. The zip-ties go through the hose clamp and onto the flag.. This is cause the grommets on the flag were to small for the right size hose clamps.

Flag Pole Build Thread

Okay so I've been saying for awhile I was going to make a flag pole set up for my Jeep and I finally Jumped on it.

Materials:

Small 4" Zip-ties x8
3'x5' Flags x2
Small hose clamps x4
48" Ceiling Fan Extension Downrod x2
Large truck bearings x2
Metal couplets x2
Smaller downrod extensions x2
Primer, Paint, Clear-coat
and some misc nuts and bolts

Attachment 229858

Weld down the couplets to any metal bumper, ect, for downrods to screw into.

Attachment 229859

Drill holes in the bearing to bolt onto smaller downrod and bolt smaller downrod to larger one as a topper

Attachment 229861
Attachment 229862

Repaint over the welds and wa-la.. The wind was perfect haha mostly good for parades but it still is awesome, and easily removable.
