When I got to the rental, I saw several Wranglers, so I asked for one. Had to pay for an upgrade. Got a Billet Sport. Should've taken a pic, cause it was covered in mud when I left.

Really nice trip, but I wish I had my Jeep with me, I would have been more adventurous.

Note: Most of the driving was between 8,000 and 9,000 ft, with the higher passes (12,000 ft) closed. At 9,000 I could feel the altitude difference, both in myself and the Jeep.

I'm planning Moab in the next year or two. Thinking of flying out and finding an outfitter to rent an off road vehicle from. Understand that is quite common.

VA Needs Mountains

Went to Rocky Mountain national park today. 3 days here and I can see endless off road possibilities.

The mountain goats were laughing at my rental jeep.

Wishing I could spend every day like today.
