Hydraulic floor jack would be much better than a bottle jack or scisors jack.
Make sure the jack stands can handle the weight of the Jeep. Most of them should. However, you may want to up-size the jack stands for the extra height in case you plan on putting on a lift kit.

Not a problem.
6 ton stands work great. I have the 3 ton (I think) aluminum jack from HF along with the warranty.
Over a year old and still works fantastic.

what to use to work in garage??
Apologies if this is a repeat thread, but what kind of lifts/jacks are you guys using to work on your jk's at home?? Is any jack just a jack??
Very novice auto skills, but I gotta start somewhere right?
Looking for good, sturdy reccomendations for home garage work...
