4Jeepn not sure how it compares to a CJ-7 on position of everything, but I know on my 4" lift for my cj I didn't drop anything with a dana 300 and model 20 axle.. the springs had degree shims of some kind and it all worked out fine. but if your buddies if off I don't see why a t-case drop out hurt.

T-case drop for CJ5

Any problems with doing a T-case drop on a CJ5. Friend of mine installed a 2.5 lift I pulled off my YJ and put it on his CJ and was wondering if the T-case drop was going to be the way to go.

Thanks in advance.
