|J-Rokk||Thanks everyone. We'll see how it plays out. Eventually I'm going to get a bumper/swing out, but I need this for now.|

But since you own in now, make sure you space out the rubber tire bumpers so they fit tight against the tire. That at least will help lessen the bouncing and ripping your tailgate off.....for on road only.
How is Q-Tec's return policy these days?

|CJChet||NO GOOD MAN! My tailgate got bent up from carrying a 33"x12.50" on the OEM carrier.|

|Salem50001||I don't see any support other than the tailgate. It would ruin your tailgates hinges. I do not own it but without more support you really have not changed anything other than pushing out the carrier to mount the 35.|

|Patrick H||You'll get a variety of opinions and experiences from folks carrying a 35" tire on the tail gate. That mount you bought doesn't buy you any strength, just clearance.|

|Patrick H||Um, unless I'm missing something, we have no clue which tire carrier you have..|

Rear tire rack
I got a heavy duty rear rack for my 35" spare. Has anyone had problems with it? Added stress on the tail gate, ect? Anything?
