ive had a rough couple of days with the jeep... I've found a few spots of rust after i had my jeep flooded with about 2 inches of water after i left my windows open all night as it rained, and isn't predicted to stop for about 3 days, so now i have to deal with the smell of mildew and nasty carpet and a wet ass along with it.. as soon as it stops raining I'm taking the seats out, drying everything out, checking for rust, using that eastwood rust encapsulator and rust transformer to ensure everything is solid and replacing drain hole caps. but then today, what i thought was steam just coming off the hood actually turned out to be my engine/radiator. my radiator has a leak somewhere in it and I'm just going to go ahead and replace it afterr 150,000 miles. I'm a little pissed because this is my DD... oh well! gives me an excuse to work on the jeep! (: haha
any recommendations on radiator types and where to buy them? I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to radiators!

Got my ARB sliders in, I'm not sure if I'll get them on this year though, weather is starting to change and I really want to coat my frame while it's still rust free.
So much Jeep work to do, so little time...

Vacuumed the frame and sprayed in 4 cans of Eastwood Internal Frame Coat. Not much rust...as much sand as anything. Coated real well, glad I got it while frame is still solid!

Fenders back to black
Just bought my tj, first thing i did was torch the fenders back to their original black colour. It was my first time doing it and i wasn't super consistent with using the blow torch so it did come a little patchy, but i then applied a cream that shines black plastic (good for all interior and exterior black detailing). I must say they now look great. Simple but makes my jeep looks much newer

Since I stayed up until 2AM last night doing this, you get the pics today.
The other day I found this....
Looked up underneath it to find this.....
So yesterday I grabbed my 2 youngest
and went to town and purchased a 33mm socket, some more PB Blaster, a pitman arm puller and this.......
After a little colorful language getting the lines off, it was time for that pitman arm. I broke this puller.
The second one.....
Out with the old, and in with the new!!!
Took it for a short test drive late last night and everything seemed fine. Drove it 40 miles to work and 40 miles back home. Seems softer with a little more play in it to the left. Hmmmmm...........No leaks yet though!!!!!!
