Here to learn more about this "Jeep Thing"....

Ive been discussing getting an "SUV" of some sort, with the Wifey for about 4 years now. Always had trucks, and a car. Now.....I know this latest generation of jeeps breaks the heart of Jeep Purists, and I can understand. However, its new found size seems to fit right into what we're looking for. Im off road daily in construction, and being in AZ, we have lots of sunshine. SO......A Rubicon, with a removable hard top seems to fit my needs......and go over them a bit. Im here to seaarch my fingers to the bone, and see what kinda reliability these things are getting, how close to the EPA figures MPG's are, and if these will break the hearts of tree hugger prius drivers where ever I may go in it.

A little about me:

I cant spell for shit. If there are any internet dictionary/spell checkers on here, Im the guy to follow around, and correct his grammer.

I have 2 Dogs. They will be riding in the jeep with me, and/or trying to take over command.

I have a Wife. She puts up with alot of crap from me, as far as messing with vehicles goes.

I know my way around a wrench/vehicles, and do most all of the work on them myself. However, Im getting lazy, and might not mod the Jeep for a while.

WHAT Im looking for is a 2013 Rubi, 4 door.....or..."Unlimited", as the knowlegable call them. If anyone wants to give any insight as to issues that are known, or to watch out for, it would be warmly welcomed. If someone wants to lock down that caps lock button and scream "SEARCH NEWB!" Thats all good too! BUT.....know that I have been lurking on this site for a week now.......I know where you all live, and what you drive.......and.....well.....Ok...Im full of shit here, but I know you all drive Jeeps, and I just want to go into this knowing as much as I can.

Im Glad to be here! Thanks for the site!!
