|dooder||Its got to be doable, i mean considering engine size and stock output i think this engine should have potential for a nice bump in power. A supercharged 2.5 should make more power than a vw tdi and still have good fuel economy. ill check out that other place, thanks.|

|tn-yj||talked to the people over at 4bangerjp.com. They can help you build the 2.5 up. Nobody on here has really done alot to get alot from it. I'm waiting for Doc to jump in with his speech...|

Maybe ill just supercharge the 2.5 instead, that might be more fun.
Anyone heard of a kit to install a supercharger from a 3.8l thunderbird to a 2.5?

|dooder||cool stuff, thanks for input. I really would prefer a vw diesel cause i can easily get my hands on 1.6, 1.9, and even 2.0 tdi's but ill look into the cummins and isuzu suggestion.|

Don't know about for the Jeep, but it's a great conversion for the Suzuki Samaruai

|tn-yj||A better swap would be the Cummins 4bt or Isuzu. Alot better torque numbers|

|tn-yj||Can't say that I have ever heard of one....|

Has anyone ever heard of a kit or bellhousing to mate a vw TDI engine to a jeep trans? The 2.5 gas engine i have is good but i think a wrangler would benefit from a little more torque and better fuel mileage.
