BAMF95YJ There is nothing wrong with the Roughcountry line of products. I have personally installed 1 4" long arm systems and 1 of their 3.25" short arm lift kits If you ditch the short arms for the proper amount of articulation. Any time you lift a vehicle your going to lose some ride quality, if you want a nice ride buy a caddy man. I hate to be blunt but it seams this site is only for people to buy over priced products on here-say for status. It is not how much something cost but how it performs. You did not specify which lift you have from rcx, but if it is too soft try a different valved shock. Don't let people lead you down an expensive road of bs. I have been an avid offroader for 14 years. I have had 5 rigs, I am not new to jeeps or anything with a t case and can be lifted. I have had Superlift, Trailmaster, Procomp, Rancho, the RCX kits I installed where of the same quality man. My 2 friends running their Tj's with rcx abuse the piss out of them and still drive them daily.

What lift kit should I go with or look into? I want to run 33's, good quality that will last, and a kit that has everything that will align everything correctly and comes with everything to do so. Budget is important but so is quality. Also whats everyones favorite wheels and tires? I don't want anything real aggressive.

Your best bet for a good quality lift kit will be either Teraflex or Rubicon Express. Both of those are solid kits, and will ride great on and off road.

The Rubicon Express Kit doesn't come with shocks, but it has a lot of other great parts. The one thing you want to look for is that it comes with adjustable control arms. Those will allow you to get the Jeep back into alignment really easily.

Next would be the Teraflex 4" Lift Kit. Again, this one comes with the control arms like I suggested. This kit also includes shocks which is nice because that will save you a little money, since you're buying it as a complete kit.

Either kit will be a great addition to your TJ. They are both very reasonably ptriced, and when you factor in our Wrangler Forum Discount and free shipping on orders over $75. You can't beat either kit.

I just bought an 03 wrangler x. I already has a 4" rough country lift with 33x12.50's. I know the lift is shitty, while is drives straight it seems a bit soft and gives a lot of body roll. First thing I am going to do is get the drive train mechanically sound, change all the fluids and put in some Lucas (I am a big believer in that stuff), then I am going to change all the brake componet's. Then I am going to check out bushing, ball joints, u-joints, etc. After I have everything mechanically up to par I want to put a different quality lift kit on it.
