SteedGun I just ordered a pair of JW Speaker so I will let you know. I am a light snob and demand very strong headlamp and fog lights.

I have them installed in my MetalCloak bumper. The bumper is drilled to fit stock fog lights and they bolted right up. I did have to cut the plugs though, but that's not a big deal. I will say these things are very bright, but I have never had anyone flash at me as I have them aimed down just a tad.

polarwhite Any thoughts with the combination of a TL 27270C 7" Headlight and a JWS 6145 Fog light? I know the TL 80275 fog light compliments the TL 27270C head light, but the light output in the TL 80275 is less than the JWS 6145 Fog lights. JWS foglight output is 750 lumens versus TL foglight output of 280 lumens.

I don't like the JWS 8700 Evolution headlight beam and im pretty set on buying a set of the TL 27270C 7" headlamps, and i'm just wondering how the JWS foglight would look with the TL27270C 7" ... would that be a weird combination?

I did most of the research but cant seem to find the JWS fog lights installed and on the road on youtube. So that's why im asking members for opinions. I'm looking for illumination for highway driving.

TL 7" headlight

TL 4.5" foglight

JWS 4.5" foglights

GeckoFun Installed last night...stunning product, match 8700s perfectly

VaderJK12 I really do like this setup. I may just go for it

pepatrick pictures do no justice. The JWs have a great wide pattern and super sharp cutoff.
09-29-2013 12:32 AM
jackor a little steep for that amount of light. A nicer option in the same price range..less actually, would be 3000K HID projectors with a nice hard cutoff. going by the photos, HID projector pattern is so much wider, a little longer, brighter, and of course cut off to stay low on the ground.

JKDom Thanks for the info! I might go then with the fogs!! It was my only concern!

pepatrick Fogs do not flicker...and with the headlight revolution harness the headlights dont flicker either.
09-15-2013 06:28 PM
JKDom Any flickering issue with the new JW fog lights? As the Headlights are flickering, I'm wondering if the fog are doing the same.
08-25-2013 11:04 PM
pepatrick Love them...the really compliment the headlights as far as the beam pattern goes.

Unfortunately they don't include the mounting brackets. Anyone know where you can buy those?
Perfect! I wanted Truck Lite headlights but didn't know what fog light bulbs to get to match the headlights. This is MUCH better

Didn't realize TL had fogs out so mounting brackets are needed?

Just ordered at set from Quadratec as well. Don't forget to tell them you are a forum member to get free shipping! Might be September before they get them in to ship out....

gnotti211 I installed a pair of the 6045's in my friends jeep yesterday. Like mentioned before, you just need a special bracket to mount them and also need to cut the harnesses to wire them together to work with the existing fog light control. Overall they look great.

cverstij The 6045's are too big and need a special bracket to fit the stock bumper. The 6145's are a stock fit and were due out in June. I ordered a pair for $362, but JW Speaker choked and sent them back to engineering. Now, they are due out in August. Really? We can put a man on the moon, but not make led fogs AND meet a deadline at the same time?

NFRs2000NYC LED's are HORRIBLE for bad weather. They wash out instantly. These would be for looks only. If you actually want fogs that work, get 3000K HIDs.

^^ yep! they do look pretty bad arse... but that's a little steep for fog lights and the rigid dually D2s can be mounted in the stock fog light holes... and i'd bet they're brighter.
