dreamzx93 Finally got this out had no choice but use a pair of players and work it out. Now I've got to get a new one or sand the marks I made on this one down.

Shifter arm stuvck in trans

Started tearing down my transmission and the shifter arm is stuck. I pulled shifter tower off unbolted the shifter tower and then the bolt that holds the shifter fork. Turned it over took detent ball and spring out. Grab an allen wrench and pull the plug off that holds the shifter arm in there. In my 300zx i can get that out with a magnet this one will not budge. I have tried everything to get this out short of damaging the arm itself but with no luck. All i can think of is heat but i dont want to do that yet. The arm rotates freely inside the fork but i think its getting hung in journal it slides through. Any thhoughts or tricks i would greatly appreciate it.
