The only thing I notice is a very slight decrease in power with the 35s and of course, lower gas mileage. A regear from my 3.73 to 4.88 should help out with that though, and that will be my next modification. Performance before aesthetics is my preference.

That's a TON of work to do in one day, good idea on the sway bar swap but those aren't needed unless you're going fast. Oh, you live in Albuquerque and that is a requirement.

From Tiny String Bean to Jolly Green Giant...Bindi the Gecko JK
I'm thrilled to share with you the in progress of my 2013 JKU build, her name is Bindi.
Today I dressed her in a 3.5" Metal Cloak Dual Rate lift, and rebolted front and rear track bars and control arms to avoid the dreaded death wobble I also used Rubicon Express Shocks and a Tera Flex exhaust spacer kit. The last 3" of my rear shock mounts were cut off and new brackets were installed, allowing for about 3" more inches of clearance, which is freaking stellar!!
Members Darkfire and wat3rdog helped me out and another member of our local jeep meetup group showed up and offered his help as well. It was a wonderful learning experience for me and the satisfaction that I have knowing that I had a big part in getting this thing on my Jeep is tremendous!
The first pic is of my bone stock JKU, and the others are me and the guys working on it in Darkfire's shop, as well as me standing next to it finished....sort of. I have 35" BFG ATs waiting for me and some 16" MB chaos 6 (blck and chrome) wheels that will be put on Monday.
Because of the back spacing issue with the stock wheels, the rear sway bars from the Metal Cloak lift rubbed on my wheels and could not be put on. Thanks to the guy who stopped by, we reached a general consensus to take the stock front sway bars and put them in the rear temporarily until I can get the wheels with the back spacing that will accommodate the ones that came with the lift.
After we installed the front stock sway bars in the rear, we took it for a test drive that made it out of the driveway without the scary scraping sound we heard before the sway bar switch. It drove like a dream! Better than stock, perfect steering, and handles turns and speeds of 80 mph on the freeway perfectly. I'm one happy jeep loving girl!
