GunToter If you put in 17650 Meador Grove Rd. in Moody, Tx into a GPS or google maps it will bring you close. It takes you onto a gravel road. Just stay on the gravel untill you come to a gate. There's a little "shack" to sign in and out, and a cool old fella that might come down to talk to you (he lives in a trailer next to the shack and opens/closes the park). Once signed in go through the gate and have fun exploring. You can see most of the trails on google maps if you put it on satalite. It's not hard core, only two places I got a wheel off the ground (sway bar still connected) but still fun. Like Tiffany said, best when it's muddy!

Couple of the trails dead end at the river, so bring your poles and ice chest!

Here's the super secret spy satalite picture.

Between Temple and Gatesville off of 36. Small little fishing park that has an OHV trail following the river. It's best when it's muddy.

Rubiconlj Anyone up for going to Iron Bridge Park tomorrow or Sunday? I'm game for anytime this weekend
03-31-2013 02:29 PM
Rubiconlj Sounds good. Good luck with the cleaning part. That stuff cakes everywhere. Hardest part is the skid plate. Let me know.

GunToter Shoot, I'm still trying to get the mud off the underside so I can do some work! That clay/mud out there is nasty....but fun! I'm hoping this rain will help me clean off underneath. After I get done what I need to do I'm up for it. Maybe next weekendish?

Rubiconlj It's calling for rain tomorrow! Anyone wanna go get muddy?
03-30-2013 08:59 AM
Rubiconlj LJ I might be able to run out to Iron Bridge Park and play a bit this afternoon/evening. I haven't been since I got my lift/tires and really itching to go Offroad. Let me know if your interested

LJ2005 Harker Heights is better than Killeen. Just saying. I'd prefer being out towards lampasas, marble falls, temple, belton, or anywhere that is not Killeen, Harker Heights, or Copperas Cove.

Duckquackers Harker Heights....
03-29-2013 11:45 AM
LJ2005 Eh. lt's definitely not my favorite area of texas. Should be called Da Hood.
03-29-2013 11:42 AM
Duckquackers LJ, I will be taking a short trip but in the Houston area. How is Ft. Hood treating you?

Anyone hitting some trails this weekend?

Hey guys. I've been itching to hit some trails lately. It's been about two months since my last trail ride. I'm starting to have some withdrawals....

So is anyone going to hidden falls this weekend or anywhere around the Ft. Hood area?
