Caution on the wire wheel though, long sleeves, safety glasses, closed toe shoes (not flip flops) and jeans are a must Learn from my mistakes.

2013 JK 4Dr Rubi .... 8 months old and 9000 miles and its all rusted out like the OP's maybe worse. Will post pics tmrw.
The POR15.... Which one exactly did you use to "wipe" off the rust? I'm seeing POR15 paint and other stuff but want to be certain.

|fireguy||13 jku 2.5" rock krawler stock mod lift 315 70 17 / GY Duratracs 5100 Bilsteins. I am really happy with this setup. Ride on and off road is great, I prefer it over the stock ride. I do have aftermarket front bumper and warn zeon 10 winch (about 150#over stock) and rear bumper/tire carrier ( 160#over stock) set up helping out the ride. I run the tires at 28 psi and it feels about right. Can't tell about the wear yet though.|

1. Tera 2.5 spring lift with 9550 shocks
2. 1.5" rugged ridge wheel spacers
3. 315 70 17 procomp extreme mt2's
4. Super hip flashpaq
My mileage on the freeway in my rubicon is 19 if I stick to 65, which is actually better than stock
The ride is tremendously more smooth (5100's are great but known to be a bit stiff on a dd jk)
The tires have a slight hum but pull nicely offroad and handle very well on road
There is no rub, though I don't have my stupid splash guard under the bumper anymore.
There are no more parts to my set up than that and I highly recommend this or a similar set up.

If you do 12.5" tires on the stock wheels there are many companies out there (Discount Tire/America's Tire included) That will not mount the tire to the wheel because of safety concerns. There are people that run them just fine, but shops can and do refuse installing that combination.

get the exhaust spacer. I have spacers in with a 3.5 and my driveshaft boot is torn from the exhaust. better safe than sorry but you dont NEED it.
they are a pain in the butt to install though. I had to run a ratchet strap from my rear bumper to my Y-Pipe to pull it back far enough to get it on.

Thanks for all the pics and feedback. Coming down the home stretch on decision making and have a couple of more questions. The set up I am narrowing down to is the following:
1). Teraflex 2.5 suspension kit. http://internationalboardofhypnotherapy.com/locate.html
2). Bilstein 5100 shocks
3). Stock wheels with 33" 10-11.5 inch wide tires.
I am hesitant to go to 35's for reasons of reduction in gas mileage and handling. This is my every day vehicle.
Can anyone provide me with all terrain recommendations. I am not sure which measurement indicates the tire width.
At what point do I need wheel spacers for the set up above?
Also, do I need adapters with the set up above if I get the Bilstein shocks?

|kjeeper10||A spacer on top the coil is not going to make a significant change in ride. It's all in the shocks.|

I have heard quite a few complaints about spacer lifts due to the harsh ride.
You will need wheel spacers to keep factory wheels with wider tire and with the lift. Can't remember the issue but something rubs on the back.
Tera kits are more complete than re kits, they include provisions for the sway bar end links.
9550's ride very nice and soft, fox shocks firm things up a bit but absorb the jolts much better. Factory shocks are garbage.
If you don't plan to offroad you will likely never have to worry about the exhaust spacer issue. If you plan on wheeling it you will probably have to worry about the spacer.

First of all, lifts don't "cause" death wobble. I didn't say that. They put additional pressure on trackbar bushings. That's why the axle moves sideways when lifted, and that's why adjustable trackbars exist. You don't think an excessive load on a critical bushing beyond design intentions will make it wear out faster? I am, however, not questioning that stock jeeps can have death wobble as well.
And I completely disagree. I would much prefer a stiff suspension on any vehicle. On sports cars, they handle corners much better. On jeeps they're harder to bottom out, and handle corners better. :P But that's purely an opinion.

|HK_Runner||Get a good coil lift. I'm getting the Rock Krawler 2.5 X Factor, and installing 35s. I am going to get it done by an experienced installer and weld on the rear trackbar. I hope to not have any wobble issues.|

First of all I want to thank everyone for their responses! I am new the forum and appreciate the candid feedback. It is very helpful to hear from people that have gone through this process.
Next question (s) will a 2.5 Terraflex Spring lift system accommodate 12 inch wide 33's? Will I need to change out the factory wheels if I go with that tire width?
Also, do I need to get exhaust spacers for a 2012 Rubicon JK with a 2.5 terraflex spring lift?

Spacer lift = most do not like it.
2.5" lift is GREAT for 35" tires.
Bottom line = Teraflex 2.5 coil lift....about $450 with shock extensions

learn from my mistake. when you pull out those 14mm bolts you can absolutely NOT put them back on your jeep. go buy some fine thread grade 8 9/16 bolts at tractor supply. no need to spend $80 at quadratec for their kit. this is the #1 cause of wobble and steering issues.
get a spring lift, the RK 3.5 flex is only $1300 but I paid much less from AOR here on this forum. spacers are a waste of money if you wheel your jeep, you are just going to install a spring lift and pull those spacers out!
