Shock Questions

I bought a 2000 TJ a couple years ago and it has the 2-inch Trailmaster lift. The weld on the left rear shock broke at the bottom where the shock body is welded to the eye. I was going to just pull it off and re-weld it, but the shock has no resistance left, so it looks like it's time for new shocks. I'm hesitant to buy another set of Trailmasters, but want to make sure I have a set of shocks designed for the 2-inch lift. It's my daily driver and most off-roading is just on two-track roads and in the snow.

Also, access to the top bolts is poor from under the Jeep. Do I need to remove the inner fender liners to get access to the shock bolts?
