It's an older top because of the vents in the back it probably came factory since your in Canada. I'd call it a freak accident and see if they make
plexi glass replacements.

'98 jeep....don't know the hard top year. It came with the Jeep. How would I tell?
I am in Alberta.
Vibrations? I just put in a new lift and tires. Hope they didn't cause it cause I like them.
The lock box is made by Tuffy. Have one on each side. Came with the Jeep.
I have a solution till fall, but need to change the glass.

|mrpotatohead||Vibrations maybe? It's a pretty big pane of glass. I would imagine it was a perfect storm situation. Temp, vibration from speed, maybe air pressure...|

|kshaws21||That sucks. You talk of speed in kmh and there is snow on the ground, you must be in Canada. I haven't saw that much snow in several years combined.|

Side window shattered
I was driving down a paved road doing 100 km/h and heard a loud bang. I looked over my shoulder and this is what I see.
I keep going a few till it's safe to pull over and by then it's falling out.
Next sharp left corner, this is what I'm left with.
Any ideas what could cause this and is it easy to replace, or should I take it to a glass shop?
