There is several types of bed liner in a can that you can buy. However, if you use Bed liner you have to sand or at least ruff the surface up before you spray this stuff on. I just redid my gas cap cover, step rails and tail light covers. I used duplicolor spray on bed liner and it covered really well. But is a bonding type paint so it won't just come off like the plastidip.

joeg679 will the bedliner be easy to peel off, like the plasti dip spray, if i make a mistake or it gets scratched?

panthermark Well, I'd look for super cheap Sahara or Sport S wheels if you want to wait a week. Heck, maybe you can score some Rubi wheels for off-roading. All three have 32" tires.

I love the look as well, but I like the idea of being able to peel them it off.

If you plasti dipped them yourself and happy how it came out, why not just use bedliner and do it yourself and save some $$?

Yeah, this...
you can probably pick up a set of older Sahara wheels for $200 or so....
or go with whatever you can get that fits..like he said, some steels off of a sport with tires on them..probably cheep...and you wouldn't have to pay for tire work (unmount, remount, unmount, remount,...it adds up)
Or, here's a kind of crazy idea..if you find a guy who's selling some steels locally...ask him if you could "rent" them..for like $50 bucks...if he's asking $200 or $300..give him the cash as security..and tell him you'll give him the wheels back in a week...if something happens and you mess them up, he's got his money...can't get burned.......a little nutty? SURE, but maybe worth a try...

jwilson2598 If you want to do it cheaper, look on Craigslist for a set of the cheapest stock steel wheels/tires you can find, slap them on while yours are being done, then take back off and resell afterwards.

Wheels for Sahara

I have a 2013 Sahara and I plasti-dipped the wheels and love the look. I'd like it to be permanent and am going to powdercoat them, but I need to give them to the place for a week. I was thinking about cuying another set of stock rims for 400 (4 rims) and giving those to the guy to powder coat and then swapping mine and selling them, but I figured that maybe I would go with something different. I really don't want to spend too much money on rims right now, so are there any ones that will fit the stock tire that are in the 500 range for 5 rims? Thanks
