Mud433 My bad, I missed the H4 part. I have the LEDs. Sorry for the confusion.

st1264 Mine don't flicker. Just came with the H13 to H4 adapter harness. Works well with DRL's and a noticeable improvement over stock.

Did you get the H4 Halogen set or the new KC LED ones? I have the Halogen set.

Hey there. Did you ever end up getting a set? I just finished installing mine. They came with the anti-flicker harness, but they still flicker when in DRL mode. I was definitely a little disappointed.

Does anyone know a way to make them work?

Do you have DRL's and these fit on your JK without modification? Don't see DRL's mentioned in your write-up. I contacted KC by email and got no response.

Yes I installed them on the new IPF 968 and when they came back they couldn't get them off but I did have realign and aim the lights.

dwlb I had a set KC's on factory bumper for a about the first year & 1/2, but somebody liked them a lot more than me I guess because one morning they had left for a new home. With a H13 to H4 adapter the DRL's should work.

st1264 I have KC 55w fogs on the way, not sure if I'll swap headlight assemblies right now as I think I'll have plenty of light if I run the KC's. I was leaning towards the KC H4 headlight swap as it's cheaper, just wondering if it works with DRL's.

dwlb There is a big difference in lighting. When I put new bumper on I changed headlights and added IPF 968's to bumper, both headlights and 968's have X-Pel clear film on them and factory fogs have yellow film. I did this because of stone damage, I am on my 5th windshield and it has 2 patches in it so I thought protecting new lights was a good idea. When wife asked if I had my stock headlights on the 401 one night and I told her yes it was not to hard to sell her on a upgrade. The IPF's light up ground close in front so much that factory fogs don't make much difference. I travel up to Bancroft area to cottage and deer are a problem but with new lights I can see much better.

st1264 It seems all the headlight swaps are glass lenses... I'm sure the IPF's reflectors and H4 bulbs are superior to the factory reflector and H13.

Actually plastic lenses are preferred over glass normally. Glass lenses tend to distort light output. When people do HID retrofits they prefer to use plastic lenses cause the glass can blur your lights cut-off line. Most people will convert from glass to plastic when retrofitting.

... and your DRL's are still working through your headlights or did you change them to fogs/parking lights? IPF headlight swap is H13 to H4 like the Hella and KC?

KC HiLite's H4 JK headlight swap compatible with Daylight Running Lamps?

We have mandatory DRL's here where I live, wondering if anyone did the headlight assembly H4 upgrade who has DRL's.

I've heard it's a problem with the LED lights and DRL's, but haven't seen anything about the halogen. Any info is appreciated. If it's a big problem, I'll just put some auxiliary lights and leave them alone...
