sajeepgirl How do I pull the boot off? My 01 TJ has an emergency brake issue I need to figure out. If I set anything on top of the boot in between the seats, my emergency brake light lights up and it beeps. Or do I need to climb under the Jeep for that? I was thinking maybe it's a loose line or something?

True but why not check the simple first then move on to actually investigating... Just saying. same thing was happening to me and just turned out to be that.

did you check under the boot to see if the sensor is contacting metal/fell out of place.

Duct tape the light, pull the fuse, and pretend it never happened.
