mkolb Help!
I have a YJ with a 15 gal tank, and can't seem to find the right size vent hose and filler hose. All of the hoses seem to be made for 20 gal tanks. The hoses for the 20 gal didn't fit. Any suggestions on where to find the right hoses?

Wrangleriffic Hi all

Thanks for the Quadratech link. Im gonna drop the tank this weekend. Has anyone ever cut an access panel out of the floor to get to the fuel pump? Once I get the tank out I may consider doing this just in case i need to do this again.

Hmmm.... this accurately describes my '93 as I have put 18 gallons in it and yes, it does stay full for quite a while before dropping the needle. For once, a PO did a good thing!

MissingMyYj Did any of the 1993 4.0L's come with a 15 gal tank or 20gal tanks with a 15 gal sending unit and 9" filler neck?

It will be plastic. Double check with a magnet and you'll know for sure. But, some 20 gal tanks are poly and some are steel.

That makes sense now with some of the confusion regarding certain years and types of tanks. Good to know.

OverkillYJ Yeah I modded the 15 gallon poly tank on my 2.5 to a 20 gallon. I think all the fuel pumps are the same for the poly tanks. It is the sending units that are different.

2xs Yea, mine is steel, Ill post a pic later (at work).
