let me help you with your budget idea.....
number one budget item= truck and tow rig
number two= all of the other items
whatever you do just make sure that you and your loved ones can get home from a good day of trail riding...some people call me a trailer queen.....but most of the ones that do only watched me go up the trails that i do......family safety first

Great Idea, but i do drive it on the street. More so than off road it at the moment. I still have stuff I want to do, but need to budget for that down the line. Short list off the top of my head is:
rear bumper w/ tire carrer
Dana 44 or Ford 8.8 rear
Dana 44 front
re-gear to 4.56 or 4.88
as well as some other little things.

Well, now it's broken in.
Might want to consider a soft top if you plan on adding any more "cosmetic" improvements.

|jamesbernatchez||It is like paintball, but the guns shoot 6mm plastic bb's and the guns are realistic in their looks and feel. They operate like their real steel counterparts (i.e. full auto, semi auto, etc.) www.groundzeroairsoftusa.com if you are curious.|

Few other photos.
Showing the clearance at the top of my hill under my skid. Never touched which I thought was pretty damn good!
Going down said hill.

I do not have any idea how I didn't crack the windshield, but I am very happy about that! As long as the pillar doesn't leak I can deal with it. On the way home I actually was happy about it. I figured the other Wranglers I wave to can see I actually am using it the right way .
I did notice when I got home that when I tured to the left and then brought the wheel back to straight there was a clunking noise in front. Turned out to be the track bar mount on the axle. The bolt was loose. Tightened it up and I should be good.

|bmanrkg3||I too am curious how the window didn't take any damage from that.. yikes...|

|meyers||Great Pics, now that you got the damage out of the way the real fun begins!! What size and make lift did you put on it? Looks really good with those tires. At least you didn't pop your windshield, I seem to go through one a year!!|

How do you like the MTZs? I'm considering those when I step up to 33s.
Also - I love the pic where you on the edge of the hill looking out the window - AWESOME!

|daanbc||Looks like a good candidate for some corner guards. That'll cover up that ding. But that windseild pillar= now that's a nasty bang. Congrads on braking it in. Glad to see your having fun and taking it in stride. That's what these jeeps are for.|

|Scout||That A-pillar looks nasty.|
