|Xjman1||Springs are here. Gut really was pushing their Fox shocks, says they are tuned really well for the TJ. Anyone tried them recently? I know I read in the past they were too long. How do they ride?|

|Gary2||I agree with the 3&2" . I have a 3" set and its not real bad with the hard top and full doors on but soft top and half doors its way to high in the rear|

Im planning on ordering my BDS coils this week for my LJ (going with 3" front and 2" rear after advice from others with this setup).
Going with Bilstein 5100 but trying to figure out which ones I need for front vs rear being my coils are different size. I know I researched it but I guess I forgot or didnt write it down.

Yeah, Islander, you were the one that got me going on the BDS and thus recommended to my daughters BF, now you jumped ship to OME. J/K. I like OME too, but too pricey for my blood now. LOL
Patrick, been watching for your updates on the 7000's. You have me 90% sold. How did they do off-road for you?

|Patrick H||My Dad just replaced his BDS shocks for Rancho 7000's. The BDS shocks were definitely better than the Pro Comps I was running, but in my opinion, the 7000 is a vast improvement over the BDS hydro's.|

|IslandTJ||Back when I used to run BDS, I really enjoyed my 2" lift. I found the BDS shocks' performance on and off the road to be spot on. You should be fine with the TB relocation bracket but I ran my setup without a bracket and didn't find the axles offset to be noticeable or an issue. I also didn't find any damage or stress on the OEM rear track bar bracket when I replaced my track bar later on, when I installed a TT.|

|Patrick H||If you think the 5000's ride nice, the 7000 will definitely not be too stiff..|

|Patrick H||I have the 7000MT's and I love them. Not too stiff; firm, stable, and predictable.|

I am debating rancho rs9000xl or the new rs7000mt? I know the 9's get good reviews but honestly how often am i going to mess with the knob once set? I had them on my old dodge truck and never could find a good setting.
If i get the 7's, what if they are too stiff? I like a firm controlled ride, but not too rough. The 7's offer a little more droop than the 9's.Rancho has a nice rebate going on so need to decide soon.
My daughters bf has the bds kit with their 5000 hocks and it rides nice and flexes like mad thus my decision to run their coils.

Just ordered my 2" coils straight from BDS with the promo code and shipping to my local dealer saved 10%, freight, and tax.
Now to decide which shocks to run them with.

|NC Bear||I like my BDS coils (well the entire lift, actually) I have wheeled it hard and have heavy bumpers and I have not noticed any sag.|
|04-15-2013 09:06 AM|
|rdock31||How do you like the BDS springs? Because right now it's kinda between: some used or new RC 2.5s, BDS 2s, or Rancho 2.5s. And did you get them from a vendor, cause I know they offer lifetime sag warranty.|
|04-15-2013 08:57 AM|
|Patrick H||I have BDS 2" springs, and a 2.5" rear track bar bracket. The BDS springs raised the Jeep about 2 1/2"-2 3/4" in the rear. Exact lifted height and it's relation to rear track bar bracket height isn't super critical.|

BDS Coils and what?
So I am looking to get BDS 2" springs, but I don't know if it would work with my RC 2.5" TB relocation bracket. Has anyone encountered this?
