Kronos So yesterday i was able to pick up a new to me soft top and frame in perfect condition, set of hard half doors, and a new front bumper for $430.00. going to be trying to get them on today.

The new Bumper will be the first job to tackle. Picks coming of the finished product.

Kronos I figured since i had all this bed liner id just try some stuff out to customize the jeep a little bit after all that's what a jeep is all about so...

Attachment 236847

Figured id try to do the grill. I couldnt decide weather to coat the red covers around the headlights but over the last couple of weeks they have really grown on me. It looks like the Jeep had a really rough night lol.

Attachment 236848

Next I sanded down the rough looking wheels. I really want a set of black powder-coated wheels...but the funds arn't there so bed liner works lol.

Attachment 236849

Finished product. This is about 5 weeks after covering them. All things considered I'm really happy with them minus the dirt lol.

Attachment 236850

Instead of getting new flares or fooling with the torch to get them back to black they got a coat of liner too.

Attachment 236851

There were some bad spots of paint around the fender and bottom of the body so ended up painting a strip of liner to cover them up. I'm actually not a big fan of it but it looks better than the bad paint, and its only temporary in about a month ill be doing Monstaliner on the whole thing.

Not really a build thread...Yet.

I started Looking at the forum around November of 2012. I've always wanted a Jeep, and looking at all the awesome work you guys have done only increased that. So in February of 2013 i found my baby. I was so excited to get started i didn't even get any pictures until after i painted the hard top. So this is as close as it looks to the day i bought it. The reason for the title of this thread is i don't have the money to get everything at once so for now I am really only doing cosmetic work but hopefully it won't take me forever to start doing some actual mods and upgrading.

So first order of business was to paint the hardtop.
