I figured since i had all this bed liner id just try some stuff out to customize the jeep a little bit after all that's what a jeep is all about so...
Figured id try to do the grill. I couldnt decide weather to coat the red covers around the headlights but over the last couple of weeks they have really grown on me. It looks like the Jeep had a really rough night lol.
Next I sanded down the rough looking wheels. I really want a set of black powder-coated wheels...but the funds arn't there so bed liner works lol.
Finished product. This is about 5 weeks after covering them. All things considered I'm really happy with them minus the dirt lol.
Instead of getting new flares or fooling with the torch to get them back to black they got a coat of liner too.
There were some bad spots of paint around the fender and bottom of the body so ended up painting a strip of liner to cover them up. I'm actually not a big fan of it but it looks better than the bad paint, and its only temporary in about a month ill be doing Monstaliner on the whole thing.

Next up pulling the carpet and getting the inside of the tub some bed liner put down.
My brother pretending to be a Pirate LOL sanding the inside of the tub.
My brother sanding and my granddad getting holes plugged for paint. It turned out to be quite a family gathering lol.
Getting the liner down.
All done, getting the seat belts reattached.

Not really a build thread...Yet.
I started Looking at the forum around November of 2012. I've always wanted a Jeep, and looking at all the awesome work you guys have done only increased that. So in February of 2013 i found my baby. I was so excited to get started i didn't even get any pictures until after i painted the hard top. So this is as close as it looks to the day i bought it. The reason for the title of this thread is i don't have the money to get everything at once so for now I am really only doing cosmetic work but hopefully it won't take me forever to start doing some actual mods and upgrading.
So first order of business was to paint the hardtop.
Prepped and ready for paint.
after 2 coats of Rust-Oleum rattlecan.
after 2 coats of clear coat.
