That's awesome I would take that deal on either side. Hope all goes well.

Beer Belly Again today...I looked at it, and nothing broke. A good day. I am sensing a trend with this junker.

DevilDogSoldier Nothing too significant...

Added new mirrors to the doors, JK style. Look pretty nice actually.

...the old ones are hereby relegated to duty sans doors.

TennesseeYJ This past Saturday got together with some friends and did a little wheelin'. Good Times!

darcong Went wheeling' at Evan's Creek, WA. Had a blast and was glad to find out all the work I have put into her paid off as she performed beautifully all day without a hitch. Drove there, wheeled pretty technical trails and drove home. Perfect day!

twister4399 Adjusted hard top and doors to shut up all the large gaps. Passenger door has always had 1/4" gap at top of door.

OverkillYJ Picked up some posi 8.8's to go with my 10.5 posi I will be narrowing for my build. I scored a 4.10, and a 3.73. Basically just building these for whoever wants them, except for the 10.5, that is going to see lots of abuse.

Still looking for a kingpin front though. Got a late 302, np435, and 205 as well. New springs, all kinds of goodies lately!

ArcsnSparks Pulled the tranny & transfer case so that I can swap out the tranny with a reman unit Monday. I'm also replacing the clutch and all associated stuff while I have it apart. If I ever find the guy that torqued those top two bell housing bolts to 9,000 ftlbs I am probably going to jail! Those two bolts took over 2 hrs and a parts run for a special socket. What a gigantic PITA. Other than that it was a good day

The guesswork measuring puts it around 120 lbs. Plus there's a lot of room for error. It's worth the $20 to not have to keep screwing with it. Everytime I was tightening it without knowing how much pressure I was really putting on it, I was having visions of pulleys coming apart on the highway. That's why I had to replace the PS pump.

I tried the "tighten belt until you can't twist it past 90 degrees" method which worked that day, but started squeaking again the next morning. I then decided to try the "buy a $20 ACDelco MP2242 Professional Serpentine Belt Tension Gauge and get in in the mail the next day method" and combined that with the "look up the correct tension (used belt 140 to 160 lbs & new 180 to 200 lbs)" method and it worked like a charm! Not to mention the peace of mind of doing it right.

It's funny that everyone stares when that happens, but don't even take a second glance when you're stuck in the rain on a motorcycle. At least you kept your sense of humor!

(Yeah, the PO probably removed them to "improve clearance" or something, but from all of the polished SS and lack of paint scratches, I don't think it has spent a lot of time off road.)

Hooked up the utility trailer and hauled all the family trash and recycling to the transfer station. (Full load of cans in the 5x10 trailer.) Jeexh, everybody else seems to have their tops back on already. Wussies. Stayin naked as long as possible. Great Indian Summer day.

Monster93 Installed my rear bumper and carrier, painted my fuel cans to match and made some safety wires to hold cans, sorry guys but I'm big on color contrast and coordination.

RawhideClab Pulled out the soft top that came with it when I bought. After about an hour of fumbling around with one of the brackets I realize I am missing the back bar... I guess I'll be putting the hard top back on

toddster8 Played around with the smittybilt inclinometer app. Since it works on the phone's accelerometers, it reads G-forces in turns as if they were tilts. I wonder if that's an accurate equivalent? Anyway, it was in the "yellow" zone all the way to town :o

2xs Washed the interior...

... by getting stuck in traffic in the years first rain.....

Got home, wiped it all down, and put my hard top and full doors on.....
