woansleftpeg You'll find plenty of options in your budget range and with those requirements. Here's one that meets your needs for considerably less than $100, and I'm a big fan of JVC kit: JVC Bluetooth In-Dash Digital Media Receiver with Dual USB Ports: Car Electronics

This one is an interesting design, single DIN with powered 7" screen and detachable face, for less than $200. I haven't used Power Acoustik kit before and I'd be a little concerned about how long it would last with that many moving parts, but it certainly looks like a fun bit of kit: Power Acoustik PTID-8920B In-Dash DVD AM/FM Receiver with 7-Inch Flip-Out Touchscreen Monitor and USB/SD Input: Car Electronics

Pioneer make excellent technology, I think this is a pretty ugly unit but then I think most of them are these days. Quality and feature list is good though: Pioneer DEH-X6500BT Mobile Single Din In Dash CD/MP3 Receiver with Bluetooth, MIXTRAX and Pandora: Car Electronics

Any of them flicking your switch? I haven't looked at Clarion because I've had a couple of bad experiences with them in the past, but others will tell you that they're very good.

beaureed445 I'd like 3 pre-outs.
Single DIN.
Bluetooth would be nice, but not a must-have (I can always use a usb or aux-in).
Detachable face would be a nice feature as well.

woansleftpeg What do you want from it?
Single or double DIN?
Security an issue?

Head Unit Advice

Hey guys, I'm looking for direction in finding a new head unit. As some of you already know, I recently upgraded speakers to 5.25' fronts, 6.5' rears (all Polk), pushed by a Fosgate 300x4, Kicker 6.5" replacement sub, pushed by a Fosgate 300x1. My head unit is a Sony, but only has 2 pre-outs. So, I had to use Y-connectors, and I don't like it. I have a lack of speaker control. I want to swap it out for something with 3 sets of pre-outs.

I don't really want to spend more than $200 on a new head unit. Actually, I'd really like to find something in the $150ish range. Any suggestions on what I should look at?
