Update: I purchased a new Mood Track Bar today and installed it on the Jeep. It now has no play in the steering wheel or any DW symptoms. Although the steering wheel is slightly angled, It is live able and drive able.
On another note, I was having a rattleing noise coming from what would seem the front end drivers side, I thought it was the loose track bar before. Well the noise still persists, I had a friend turn the wheel back and forth rapidly when I looked under it, the track bar was nice and tight, and the shocks are fine I know that because I just replaced them with bilstein 5100s yesterday. There was a sort of "pop" that came from the steering wheel when you did the turning just right so I grabbed the bar the pitman arm attaches to and I could feel the pop riding through it. Is it possible a worn tie rod/pitman arm can make a rattleing noise over bumps?

|PStov98TJ||A stock one will be fine at that lift height. And check jks for adj. front track bars. Not sure how much they cost but they're very good as well and might (key word might) be cheaper than the Currie.|

Slight Death Wobble, Track Bar - Please Read
2002 Jeep TJ 4.0L
Rough Country 2.5" Lift
Alright guys so I've been having this problem for awhile, ever since I installed the lift last September the wobble has gotten progressively worse. I had a blown shock (Yes, Rough Country shocks are garbage, one blew that fast don't ever buy their shocks) and replaced both front ones with Bilstein 5100s, not only did it greatly increase the ride quality, but the wobble had slightly died down.
However, the wobble still remains and I have been having issues with the damn track bar at the lower mounting point for a long time now. "NO" before you say it, the hole is NOT wallowed out. Instead, this piece of shit
Jeep Accessories - Adjustable Track Bar
is just that, a piece of shit, excuse my language, but this has become tiresome. As you can see that ball stud thing that you plug into the lower mounting point (And yes, that is where it goes according to Rough Countries directions) has become loose in itself, meaning if i am to pull the bar out and play with the ball (oh here come the puns) it will wiggle around and is not tight like it should be.
Anyways, I need to get myself a new Track Bar, I know thats the bottom line plain and simple. But I really don't have much extra cash right now, so is it possible to replace the Rough Country piece of with a stock one that has the polyurethane bushings? I ask this because it has a lift, will I need an adjustable one or will a stock one fit with just a 2.5" lift? (Also I installed a track bar relocation bracket on the front)
Are there any other solutions that wont run me $300 for a curie track bar?
Also I don't wheel very often, so its not like I need anything to extreme.
Thank you and any advice/help is greatly appreciated!!!
Oh and one last thing, to anyone that is reading this that has future plans for purchasing a cheap lift kit, don't make the mistake I did. Don't get me wrong, I do like the coil springs as they have not sagged yet with an added bumper/winch on the front and the quick discos are nice. But its better to spend a few extra bucks to save you in the long run.
