Nikondsindent Well the air computer thingy that goes to the back of the carb was bad and just got replaced and carb rebuilt have about 40 miles on the carb. It was way rich and now you don't smell gas out the back anymore.

bigtoysforbigboys Looks like it was burning way to rich....but if its a stock carb setup leaning out the carb wont work as its controlled by the computer

Could this be the reason why...

...I'm not passing smog?? And why I have little bit lose of power here and there?

Can't remember but I no my CO was they the roof and one other. I leaned out my carb, my oh my was it rich!

Changed em bit haven't fired it up yet.

(89 YJ 6cyl manual carb)
