lynn When I eventually replace the OEM top on my LJ, I will go with a frame-style, not frameless. Many times I haul stuff and use the full amount of space available. The frameless top loses a few cubit feet of space right where I often need it.

YMMV

Frameless soft top
Soft top
Hard top

It sounds pretty basic, but I'm just making sure I'm not missing anything before I spend a few hundred bucks on something and it doesn't fit...

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance
If you are looking for a soft top, there are two tops that I would recommend for you.

First off is the Bestop Trektop NX. That is the "frameless" style top, that converts into a safari bikini top. I run one of these on my JK and I love it. I run it year round, with the windows in during the winter and then take them out and run it as just the bikini during the summer.

Next is the Supertop NX, also by Bestop. This is a factory style top that has bows and hardware. This top has the Sunrider feature like the Trektop, so you can fold just the front back or have the entire top rolled back.

We carry both these tops and have them ready to ship out next business day. I can also hook you up with our Wrangler Forum Member discount, and free shipping on orders over $75.

Shoot me a PM if you have any other questions!

Robert C. I have a 99 tj sport and i have a factory soft top and a safari top, (me)i want the frameless top( rampage maybe ) because it is both. Full coverage top and with all the windows off its s safari. Hard tops are nice but not as convenient as a soft top
