bncceo I've been running a 2013 jku rubicon all stock with 4:10 and 6sp. I've been getting 16-17 since I picked it up two weeks ago with what I would call mixed highway/city driving. I'm still trying to figure out where the jeep likes to shift during regular acceleration.

Actually went up Rt 7 (ok, so that's more lanes in some spots) to Rt 11 at Manchester, then Hapgood Pond Rd at Peru to Landgrove Rd up to Weston, then Rt 100 N to 100A to Rt 4 E to Lebanon. Going home was Rt 89 to Rt 10 S to Rt 31 (which overlaps Rt 9 a short ways) to 202 to 123 to 124 into Townsend MA.

CTJeep623 2013 JKU 3.21
Averaging around 18 with a good mix of local roads and highway - over the weekend on a couple hour drive in slow moving traffic (steady speed / not stop n go) -- 45-50mph, the computer said it was 24.5 - not sure if that is accurate at all, but even if it's off a little... that is impressive!
05-28-2013 07:20 AM
BagerX2 Around 19 in my 12 2-door 6-speed with 3.73s, just a guess from my fill ups and a little bit of the dash readout. I drive like I stole it most of the time so I figure that if im getting around 19 that isn't to bad. I have grannied it up to 23 a few times.
05-28-2013 07:19 AM
DJL2 My last fill up last night was 18.1 mpg (around 328 miles from 18 gallons for so). That was not babying the Jeep - my previous was 18.8 which was more careful driving. Lots of hills and traffic around here. Need flat straight with modest speed to make much more than either of those numbers.

Pipper99 Stock 2013 JKUR, automatic, 4.1, hardtop, 3500 miles so far. I get between 14 and 16 with a mix of city/highway driving based on my manual calculations (which run pretty close to the jeep's gauge)
05-27-2013 12:22 AM

It's called auto care. Federal couragias mt's. yeah I'm trying to find someone to trade me some 18's with mts for mine.

Dunkin_D I have 35'' tire, 2.5 inch lift, front bumper and smitty side steps. I didnt regear so I am running whats standard for a 2010 sahara unlimited. I was avg around 15-16 before I put the side steps on. This past weekend after I put those on my mpg dropped between 13-14. I wasnt expecting much of a difference but those things were sure heavy. Luckily I only drive 12-15 miles a day.

coniferhi 2013 2 door, 3.73 gears, manual. half doors. All stock, (for now).

manual calculation is 22.3 MPG combination of 33% hilly highway, 33% mountain 2 lane and 33% city.

I will test gain after JCR bumpers and a Warn M8000.

black betty2012 I use the auto care app on my iphone and it does a lot easy to work too. I'll try to post some pics of it later if needed.

Usually the on-vehicle measurements are high. Keep track by keeping a record, then on a full tank to full tank interval, divide how many miles you've driven by how many gallons you've put in.
