Joe Dirt Your right. It was John Bull Trail. I really wanted to run it. We adjusted our plans. I posted details under the CA thread.

This picture is my 18 year old son in our Jeep and my buddies little kids next to him near Holcomb.

jgano23 serves him right for not following the rules. plus it gives us jeep people more bragging rights. we can now add "Ram Recovery Vehicle" to the list.

Dodge blocking Big Bear trail

I went to Big Bear, CA to run some trails with a friend today. We both wanted to try the hardest one up there. As we got to the trail starting point we saw Jeeps backed up 50 deep. Blocking the was was a guy in his lifted Dodge Ram stuck on a boulder. The trail guide clearly says high ground clearance vehicle with lockers only. His lifted Dodge had IFS and low ground clearance under all his drop brackets, no locker and no winch. The Jeeps guys managed to winch and boulder stack him out, but with about $5000 of body damage to his new truck!
