|twister4399||Put in my new bushings and 1/2 lift boom shackles. Also finally figured out what was binding and popping in front end. Passenger side u-bolts were loose. So now that it has poly bushings all around with grease bolts and the 1/2 lift shackles it rides amazing. I thought ditching the trac bars and new shocks were nice. This did just as much as removing trac bars.|

|TigWizard||Went and filled the old girl's tank for the first time since modding the gas tank. The gauge showed just over 1/4 tank and I was able to get another 12 gallons in the tank. So I'm figuring my mod bought me about 3- 4 more gallons. Nice. Also heard some new squeaks at low speed, like rotating squeaks. I'll check the shafts/universals/breaks (everything that spins, rotates, etc!) when the weather gets warmer.|

Had a RE 4.5" extreme duty lift and SYE installed by Rubitrux in Boone on my last break home. I'm deciding on what axles to go next. I'm still new to the Jeep world but so far I am loving it.

Hmm. A few drinks and a ball peen hammer seem to have solved the problem. Weird.
Earlier today before finding out about the clearance issue.
Rolled it out of the garage to make some room and prepare for install. Sitting a bit nose high with no drivetrain.
After making the modifications to get it all to fit right and adding the alternator/power steering pump.
Plan is to drop it in tomorrow morning.

|Wombat Ranger||Found out today that the 4.2 carb intake doesn't fit with the APN Header that I am trying to use on my 4.6. I need to figure out how to put a little ding in the #2 and #6 primary for the little bit of clearance needed to use the intake manifold.|

Look at post 8908 for the "before" pictures. Here's what I ended up with. Lots of major pitting but enough good metal left to blast and paint. And I replaced the rusted out stock torx fasteners with stainless steel. So worth the extra dimes. Working with Jeep dealer to get an OEM replacement light fixture for the top.

Used my new tupperware for the first time yesterday.
Made some progress with engine assembly today.
The original valvecover bolts were breaking at 10 ft-lbs so I went to the store and picked up grade 8 bolts and washers and put them in at 12 ft-lbs. Adds some bling so it was definitely worth it. (That was a joke)
