Ah ok. I have family in Fern Creek, Shelbyville and Sheperdsville up that way. Three uncles retired from GE too. So, I am familiar with Bullit county.

I am from the Dayton,Ohio area originally. Been down here since 2001. Had been wanting another Jeep since I moved here, as there are trails all over these foothills, all the way down into Tennessee. So, this past Feb. bought this YJ, and been spending money on it ever since. LOL Used to make a yearly trip down here the first weekend of March every year, for a weekend of 4 wheeling with a bunch of buddies. Now, I just wait the first weekend of March for all my buddies from Ohio to come down here. lol But have been coming here since 1979. Love it down here. Good luck with your fishing trip. My mother has caught a 42 inch/36lb. Striper out of this lake and its hanging on her wall.
I actually live right on the lake, have a trail down to the cove below the house. On the southeast part of Lake Cumberland, not far from 76 Falls. They say the water level is going to rise back up another 35 feet soon, since they have fixed Wolf Creek Dam now.

Raiderfan001 Looks like you lifted it from the bumper rather than the stinger itself. Without more support built into the stinger I wonder if it would hold up to being lifted on the stinger.

denisbaldwin HAh! I used my hi-jack on my stinger the other day to make an adjustment. Neat stuff.

KentuckyMike I bet Smittybilt would love to see that. To show people how strong their Stinger bumper is. I opted for the XRC Rock Crawler bumper with the grill guard tube instead. Didn't think I personally would like that tall stinger sticking up in the front. But they do look dang good on a Jeep.

KentuckyMike Creativity at its best. Good idea. My buddy likes to winch his up in the air to change his oil via a big oak tree limb in his front yard. He has been doing that for years.

jokerchief462 Excellent idea I may just use that next time I need to lift my front end up. Thanks.

Stinger lift lol

Well I figured y'all might enjoy this I'm currently installing a 2.5 rc lift and 1inch shackles on my 92 wrangler and well my buddy and I realized that the floor jack we had wasn't tall enough and with no 2x4s in sight we decided to lift in with the cherry picker using tow chains and all on my smittybilt front stinger thought y'all could use a laugh
