I am pretty sure 2012/13 is different. The span on the main mounting bolts underneath is different.I know my 2012 JK needed adapter plates to make older style steps fit.
Just measure the span between the 2 bolt holes that go up into the body, not the rockers. One will be 24 inches, the other 26.Then you will buy a set that fits.

legitposter Smitty makes 'classic' rails that mimic the rubi rails. Still, the rubi rails aren't that expensive since there are so many available used ones.

Rock Rails

Was looking at purchasing the rubicon style rock rails, mostly to keep road rocks ext from bouncing up into the rocker panel under door and causing rust.

Theyre kind of pricey, was looking for suggestions to aftermarket solution or maybe used?
