|loud pipes||Many +'s and -'s for each it seems. I am struggling with the same decision for a 2012 3.6L with a 6 spd m/t. The dip switches seem pretty antiquated, yet dependable. (Sort of like mechanical linkages vs electronic haha). Too bad AEV doesn't come out with an app to control the module like some OBD tools (torque or enginelink). I am leaning towards Procal - hard to argue with AEV quality across all product lines.|

I am glad I am only having the problem with the TPMS
the last thing I would do now is upgrade my Flashcal to a Flashpac, since they can't even get that to work right.
Customer service is poor, I haven't gotten an email returned in weeks

SCT (http://www.sctflash.com/) will be coming out with a tuner here pretty quick! For 07-14 JK w/auto.
They are big in the Mustang/F150 arena and will be most excellent in this market too Im guessing!
*Ive had an SCT Tuner on all my vehicles since 2004

After talking to Superchips for weeks. Download after download. Sending my Flashpac back to be reprogrammed by them along with my PCM.
When I got it back it trashed my transmission. At first my jeep would not start, after three "downloads" recommended by Flashpac it still did not work (that took a week) I was down and with only one vehicle to get to work with I had to borrow a ride.
Four weeks latter I just got my Jeep back from the dealer trying to find out what happened to it. To much to list what they did but in the end I would say
I WOULD NEVER PURCHASE A SUPERCHIP PRODUCT AGAIN EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
SuperChips admitted to me that they did not have a working FlashPac for a 2014 Jeep automatic. Superchips fell off the face of the earth “NO HELP” from them after the last three attempts to fix the problem.
It got very difficult to deal with them and they did not fix the problem.
SHAME ON YOU SUPERCHIPS.

Does the flashpaq from SuperChips help or improve on ProCal with the following issues?:
1) Going from stock Rubicon wheel setup on 2014 JKU R/X to 2.5" AEV lift and 35" Toyo's M/T, --shift points stink after AEV ProCal programming. Engine red-lines going up hills out of Denver before tranny shifts up (2nd gear to 3rd especially).
2) TPMS setting changes in ProCal have not worked after several attempts.
3) Daytime running lights? Cannot get it to work. Could be operator error I'll admit.
Just Curious if SuperChips is better than ProCal in these areas.

I have done it multiple times, reset to factory and tried it again.
I have downloaded the updates and if I set it to 22, it sets it to 29 and that is the lowest it will go
They know it is a problem, but can't say when they will have a solution

I have the Flashcal for a 2013 and the TPMS setting doesn't work correctly and they have not been responsive to the problem
I can't recommend it at this time

|Shifty219||Got an email from superchips, anyone with the flashcal can download the flashpaq tuning programs now. its 180 bucks but easier than buying the whole new programmer if you want the tuning options|

I love my procal, nothing to update. Takes 10 seconds to adjust 10 dip switches. Instructions are straightforward, and you can turn off tpms out of the box.
I find it weird that people are complaining about dip switches, but they have no problem turning on a computer and doing 15 min software downloads.
I would recommend the procal. Also please check and make sure you get the latest model which is 30406007AG

I am under the assumption that the Procal will allow you to run without TPMS in the tires? Superchips is a free download.
Can anyone confirm that this works for both devices? I like the Procal from what I read and heard but I want it to disable theTPMS because I dont want to buy them with my new tires.

I need to revive this thread....have some questions that are not being answered by reading back through. So here goes...
Correct me if im wrong (im new to the tuning business) but the difference between the flashpaq and the procal is the tunes in the flashpaq right? and obviously the price....
Is anyone using the flashpaq on a 13' Rubicon with the 6-speed? is it worth it? I really only need to change my tpms threshold and pull a check engine code...but If the tunes are worth it I may splurge for the paq over the cal becasue there is some slight hesitation in the engine during acceleration mainly in third gear while accelerating. Thanks for any feedback....
