indirocz28 You should look up MORE engine mounts, I would check out a 5.3 LS1 GM engine and 4wd trans/transfer case.

Many companies have wiring harnesses made already, or you can cut the GM one and splice into yours or do it stand alone.

I have a 350tbi in my YJ with a SM465 manual trans and a Dana 300. Running 4.10 gears front and rear.

Engine swap

Alrighty guys I got a few quick questions. To start I have a 2001 jeep wrangler sport 4.0l. First question is what would you choose for the engine itself. A hemi 5.7l or a Chevy 350...? Second what steps do I need to take to install and get this jeep running at tip top shape... Also gearing and should my tranny be okay or should I switch that out as well. I got the money and time to do this so it's not a problem there. Anything would be helpful! Thanks!
