I was thinking something like this on the new dash mold. These guys get $400 for these. I would do Rounded pods for Gage's and switches, and a spot for a CB.
Off the top of my head, I would need $275-300 to make it worth my time. What do you guys think?

|Scooby88||Sorry, haven't ordered the sye yet. Chainsaw took a crap so I had to buy another one, got a good deal on a homelite from the 70's and this thing rips! (Loud as hell) the guy had another old small homelite that I just have to have that I pick up Saturday, it's getting cold up here and I heat the garage with wood plus I sell it.|

I did get the roll cage removed tonight, need to pick up some blocks tomorrow so I can get it up higher to mock up the rear leaf springs on the 14.
I have next week off from work, so between cutting firewood and getting the shop ready for winter I should get the sye ordered and the transferase dropped.

|firefighter8513||Awesome thread and build Scooby!! I picked up my edelbrock 750 carb and intake as well as a complete comp cams valve train kit for 100 bucks. Got a 4 bolt main 350 for an old refer I had in the garage I kept my beer in. Guess I'll be going back to a cooler lol. Quick question, did you ever figure out anything on using the stock fuel pump and a regulator? Or are you going a different route?|

Picked up some good stuff Saturday. U-bolts and brackets for the 14 bolt and they cost me a whole $6.70!
Got 1 of the leaf springs cleaned up today. Should be buying the sye this week.

|Projectgrizz93||Looks like a familiar fender cut I like the wording comp cut haha|

Trimming the back
Cutting the rear, I think they call it a comp cut. Still have to cut the bumper.

|Scooby88||Got one side done, not sure how I'm going to finish the rear. I also got the gas tank pulled out last night, I thought it would be a pain being it had about a half tank of gas but it was pretty easy.|

Here how it sets today
I'm trimming the rear bumper and fenders today.

The plan is to get things around to slide the 14 under the rear, being it's welded makes it a little difficult.
I'm tired of updating on my phone, do I buy a new laptop or the sye?
|10-08-2014 02:43 PM|
|Projectgrizz93||Ha that's why I built a paint booth around mine it doesn't fit in the garage anymore|
