The 3.8 is 200k plus motor.
The real question is what are your plans with the rubi if you purchase. The 42rle auto trans is not friendly with larger tires at hwy speeds. Overdrive was at .69/1 and designed for a v8. The 4.10 gears will provide some cushion, but not much. Other than the lack of low end torque to turn bigger tires paired with the poor gear ratio in the transmission you are looking at a very durable drive train.

Not really sure who you heard that the engines Give you trouble after 80k from. The old TJ engines wouldn't even give you trouble after 200k and if the 3.8 and 3.6 haven't had trouble before 50k it's very rare that they will have it after. For the most part they are just as reliable as other engines. The one thing I'd check is if it burns oil. Some do and it's not that bad. You can run a higher viscosity or just add oil when needed if that's the case. But either way the jeep should last a very long time if taken care of
As you can see tho, they have a killer resale value. At 22k you are close to a new one(sport not rubicon) with the new engine and 5speed auto and warranty. But I can see the appeal of a rubicon
