gixxerphil It also cracks me up when people think they're limited edition Jeeps are worth more money. I saw a guy selling a Tomb Raider TJ....it was lifted, aftermarket wheels/tires, etc. for way too much just b/c of the limited edition badge

I assume the COD, Polar, WW, Islander, etc JK guys do them same.

Things is, as soon as you deviate from stock form, it looses all the allure of being a special edition.....not that any Jeep will be like a 68 Shelby GT500 KR

Well, I had to think for a little while but I think I have it figured out. They all want to be special and have something that only a few thousand other people have. It might have something to do with the "Everybody Gets a Trophy" generation.

Maybe the more letters, the cooler you and you're Jeep are. They did keep with the theme, it's a JK. There is no LJ, it's a TJ Unlimited but I think everyone called it LJ for long Jeep? Mine has now achieved Junk status, it's no longer the pretty new Jeep in the driveway. It still looks pretty good, but give me another 250k mi.

I changed it after reading a thread where the guy called his JKU a JKURHR. I thought holy crap that's a lot of letters

I wish they would've just named it something"J" and kept with the theme. You could've called it a 4 door something"J"

Yeah I could of used it tonight. Had patchy areas where it was fine and didn't want it in 4x4, then i would hit snowy parts..
