Finished fabbing and installing 6" rear tube fenders. This is the kit that's on ebay. Took about 6 hrs total to weld em up grind the welds down and paint. Not sure if I like the look or not but need the tires covered to get a state inspection. Not sure if I want to go with the kit for the front or maybe Genright? What ya think? [IMG][/IMG]

Sams Club...$30 for two ammo cans. One larger one smaller. I have three old, original military ones sitting in garage that won't hardly open. Seem to bind pretty good when trying to open them so rather than put any time in on them saw these today.
Don't know where to put them yet but I'm sure they can be useful. That's crazy....my wife says.....

|silver rubi||So. Last night. .. replaced the original shocks that had around 250000 miles on them with Skyjacker Nitro 8000s, foxed the electrical issue with my third brake light, fixed the front bumper and aligned my headlights|

Spiderball Gun Mount
Figured out a way to secure my rifle safely yet provide quick access when I'm on the property.
Of course when I drive out it goes back into its case behind the seats out of sight.

|Dustdevil||Installed my air tank and other components for OBA, alongside the compressor I already had. Ran temporary lines to both bumpers, but I will likely move them eventually to the area under the body just ahead of the rear wheels on each side. LJ underbelly has a space just large enough to suspend everything on the driver side opposite the muffler and under the rear seat. Still needs electrical and relocation of the quick disconnects, but should be operating within the week.|

WeatherTech floormats fit perfectly and they don't move
Treated my '98 to some new front floormats from WeatherTech. I'm very pleased. Not the digital deep dish style, but the flat style. No mud or snow here, only sand to contend with, so I think they will be great.

it can be done. . but its expensive. . more expensive then it would be to juat buy a new jeep and sell the 4 banger
I have never done it but I hear you can expect to pay 10k plus.. if your attached to that jeep to much to sell it id just spend a little more and get a even better moder... lots of people like the v8 swap.. and im sure there is a bunch of build threads on it

I am new to owning a jeep. I have a question, any advice is welcomed. I have a 03 TJ with the 2.4L. It is pretty high mileage, I am getting close to 200K. I got the jeep super cheap so its paid off.
Here is my question- Can I drop the Jeep V6 Engine into this frame? If so is there any other major components I would need to change as well? If I cant change the engine- what are some solutions for the 4 banger??
The reason I ask, is because my wife and I do a lot of camping. We are planning on getting a trailer for the jeep to put the camp stuff in. I am worried that pulling a trailer in the 4 banger will be hell (especially going up hill on a highway). I know on the trails, I wont have an issue. Please advise!!
